FAQs

  • How is the pottery made?

My work is hand-thrown or hand-sculpted, or sometimes a mixture of both. Each piece is unique and one of a kind.

The majority of my art is crafted from high-fire stoneware and porcelain, fired either to cone 6 (2165°F) or cone 10 (2381°F), with some sculptural pieces fired in Raku (1830°F).

  • When is your next shop update?

I update my shop as pieces make it through the kilns at the community studio that I go to so it is hard to determine ahead of time. I highly recommend following me on social media for advance notice on updates as well as exclusive shop previews. At this point, I do not have a mailing list but it is in the pipeline.

  • How do I care for the pottery?

All my work is microwave and dishwasher-safe, although please take care, washing by hand is the best option. Ceramic is fragile, and some of the pieces require attention. Please handle them with care to ensure the longevity of the piece.

  • Do you take custom orders?

I accept custom orders that are within my ability to do. Contact me and let me know what you are looking for and I will let you know if it’s something I can do for you. Please visit my custom work page to view previous work.
